For the Stedelijke Basisschool De Toverboon, we are creating a renovated campus for 250 pupils.

This campus will be a home for nursery and primary school pupils. Four nursery classrooms will be provided for the nursery school, with adapted sanitary facilities and sufficient storage space. A sensory room, a care classroom and a multipurpose room will also be provided for these nursery school children. Six classrooms will be built for the primary school, extended with rooms for religious education, an art classroom and a care classroom. In addition, a refectory with a kitchen, a sports hall and administrative rooms will be provided.

The renovated green playgrounds offer plenty of space for sports and games. The school buildings are located behind a publicly accessible green forecourt, the landscaping of which is part of the project.

The community school will be a lively place that focuses on learning, meeting and connecting. In addition to education, the building will house a crèche, after-school care, hobby and meeting rooms and community facilities. The after-school care will be integrated into the school building and will make use of existing spaces. The nursery will accommodate 18 babies/toddlers and will be constructed as a separate building.

This will create a future-oriented, inclusive and multifunctional learning and meeting place for young and old.
