In the heart of Zaventem, the municipality is planning a new art academy on a single central campus.

The current scattered and outdated infrastructure will make way for an inspiring place where art, encounters and expression come together. The new academy will be a centre that stimulates collaboration, nurtures talent and builds bridges between the school, the park and the cultural centre.

Displaying and creating are central. Accessible activities, showcases and performances give visitors a good idea of what the academy has to offer. At the same time, studios and halls provide the peace and privacy needed to create freely and without hindrance.

The new building and the outdoor environment with green areas and a new outdoor auditorium will enhance the academy’s visibility in the municipality. The building will be a magnet for the neighbourhood, a place where art and community come together and the social and cultural fabric of Zaventem is strengthened.
