Stedelijke Basisschool Koersel

We are constructing a new school building for the Stedelijke Basisschool Koersel (Municipal Primary School) on the current school site. The existing school building, which has been in use since the 1950s, has for some time failed to meet modern educational requirements and sustainability standards. The new school will be a vital place where children can discover their talents. The investment in the municipal school in Koersel is therefore also an investment in the children’s future. Furthermore, the new school will feature a number of spaces that can be used by local clubs and associations. This ensures the school remains a vibrant place even outside school hours.

The programmes offered by Villa Barrie, the Academy of Music, Word and Dance, and the Academy of Visual Arts will be integrated into the building. Local clubs and organisations will also be able to use the sports hall and multi-purpose spaces. The current playground will be paved and provided with the necessary greenery.
